A Day in the Venue

From first light table settings to the last guests leaving after an evening of shared plates, cocktails and hosted poker, every day at Rivercall Roast is carefully choreographed.

Pre-Service

Team briefings, menu tastings, section allocations and quiet checks of glassware, linens and card tables set the tone for an unhurried, confident service.

Dinner Service

Guests arrive for coastal-inspired modern Australian dishes, local wines and cocktails. Coordination between kitchen, bar and floor ensures a seamless flow from arrival to dessert.

Hosted Poker Evenings

On scheduled nights, professional hosts run offline poker games at real tables with cards and chips, supported by food and beverage service and clear venue guidelines.

All poker activities at Rivercall Roast take place exclusively in person at our physical restaurant venue. Attendance is subject to age restrictions, venue rules, booking conditions, responsible service policies and applicable Australian laws and regulations.

Senior Section Waiter

Part-time / Full-time

Lead a section during dinner service, ensuring guests experience thoughtful, attentive and unobtrusive hospitality.

  • Evening and weekend availability required
  • Previous premium or boutique dining experience preferred
  • Current RSA for New South Wales essential

Experienced Bartender

Casual / Part-time

Craft signature cocktails, recommend local wines and support service before, during and after hosted poker evenings.

  • Confident with classic cocktails and bar mise en place
  • Comfortable engaging with guests at the bar and tables
  • RSA certification and strong product knowledge required

Chef de Partie

Full-time

Run a section in the kitchen, preparing seasonal Australian dishes with precision and care in a respectful, well-structured brigade.

  • Strong experience in premium bistro or restaurant settings
  • Focus on consistency, cleanliness and timing
  • Opportunities to contribute to seasonal menu development
